Japan Language and Culture Immersion for Middle School & High School Students
Study Abroad in Japan with KZN Study & Travel
Join KZN Study & Travel for a cultural immersion experience in Japan designed for middle and high school students who want to explore the country and practice speaking Japanese in real-world settings. Led by the KZN team in partnership with Malcolm Harding from West Cambridge Japan Tokyo, this guided program offers on-site language practice and meaningful cultural engagement throughout the trip.
Travel Details
Participants may choose to fly with KZN from New York (JFK) on June 7, 2026, arriving in Osaka on Monday, June 8, or meet the group directly in Japan. The return flight departs from Tokyo on June 17, with the option to travel back to JFK with KZN or make independent travel arrangements from Tokyo.

Hiroshima Peace Museum and UNESCO Miyajima Island
Kobe Mountain and Harbor
Kyoto and Nara
Tokyo
Kamakura (ancient capital)
Enoshima Island
Nikko Toshogu
Program Cost
The total cost of the trip is $3,500, which includes lodging, local transportation, entrance fees to all sites, and daily breakfast. Lunch and dinner are not included.
Students are responsible for their airfare. Flights booked early (approximately six months in advance) are around $800, while later bookings may cost as much as $2,500.
